Contest Rules

Part 1 (Basics)

- Custom Card Rules and basic site rules apply here, thus they will be enforced here

Part 2 (Requirements)

- You cannot host/judge in a contest if you have less than 100 posts. I'm sorry if this is discriminating to newer members, but this is to be sure that members are getting their cards graded by a member that has some forum time here.

Part 3 (Contest Formalities)

- Contests must have Requirements, End Date, Prizes in the content of thread.
- In terms of points, you can only give out points equal to the amount you own at the time you make the contest.
- If you don't know when your contest will end, just give a date and you can fix it later on.

Part 4 (Other)

- If your contest is finished, report it/change title to LOCK and we'll move it. Either method works.
- If a contest doesn't follow the rules, it will be locked
- If no response is in a contest within 21 days, we will lock/move it.
- Don't cheat using other people's cards. Basically, use your own cards, alright.

Part 5 (Card Grading)

- You cannot base a card score on special effects (such as Gold Rare, name holos, etc.) as they are considered GFX.

[You ARE allowed to add graphic effects to make it more presentable, but don't grade on the holographic stuff here. If this were Graphic Competitions, then you could grade on that]

(In short, grading must be done either on: OCG, Balance, Creativity or any other categories relevant to the Yugioh Card Game or this forum)

ADDITIONAL CHANGE

You may include GFX effects on the card as part of Presentation, but that category cannot be a major factor in deciding scores.

Can we grade the effects as one part of the criteria.

If it's not as an entire category, then go ahead.
To put it in short terms, just don't make grading the holo effects as a major thing.

I forgot to add this rule in.

"You are allowed to host 1 "Eternal" tourney at a time. This means 1 constant contest per member.

And you are allowed 2 normal contests at once. So you can run a maximum of 3 contests
